Gujranwala is one of the most biggest industrial state in Punjab, Pakistan and is one of the most influential cities of Pakistan. It is widely known because of many reasons like traditional food and hospitality of the people but we cannot neglect the industrial part of the city.
Gujranwala is among the largest manufacturers of different products from companies like Super Asia, Master Tiles, and Boss furniture etc. Being an industrial giant too, Gujranwala always deserved a special link with other big cities like Lahore, Sialkot, etc where it can perform the business via import and export. Import and Export being one of the most important part of a business, helps in creating a name of the city at all the places the export has been performed.

Gujranwala is linked with big cities like Lahore via the Gt Road. Right now, its the only road which is used for both import export purpose and for traveling by the citizens. Gt Road being the only link between Lahore and Gujranwala is crowded most of the times and cannot be rely on being the only road to connect these cities. Therefore Gujranwala always deserved a link to the motorway.

A few days back, in a meeting between different political leaders at Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce (GBC) announced the linking of Gujranwala via Motorways M-11 (Sialkot-Lahore) and M2 (Lahore-Islamabad). Although this news has been hit the charts many time before too and has not been delivered but this dream is becoming more like a need for the people of Gujranwala city.
